Evan has been practicing a manifestation meditation by Joe Dispenza for a while now along with his own manifestation practice. In this episode he hopes to simplify what manifestation is, how to do it for yourself, and explain why manifestation actually works. And that is manifestation and in many ways as well, gratitude now,

Speaker:

for those of you who are not about manifestation, maybe it's something

Speaker:

that you don't believe in, or you.

Speaker:

Yeah, just doesn't really resonate with you.

Speaker:

Then, please sit through this episode because I promise I'm going to give a

more practical look on what manifestation is and how you can practice it.

So just very quickly for those of you who just do not know what manifestation

Speaker:

is, which I would imagine is a small portion of the listeners on this show.

Speaker:

Uh, but nonetheless it is the, okay.

Speaker:

Like the ax actual definition of manifestation is an event action or object

Speaker:

that clearly shows or embodies something, especially a theory or an abstract idea.

Speaker:

So, yeah, that is manifestation obviously.

Speaker:

I mean, that is the definition of it.

Speaker:

However, I think in more simple terms and also, uh, just more Mo

Speaker:

more so pertaining to what we're going to be talking about today.

Speaker:

Uh, we can say that it is like manifestation is kind of bringing

Speaker:

something from the non-physical world to the physical world.

Speaker:

So.

Speaker:

Uh, a really kind of a good way to think of this as like a thought, right?

Speaker:

You, you can have a thought in your head and no, not.

Speaker:

Sorry, not a thought like.

Speaker:

A derogatory term, but I thought in your head, right.

Speaker:

Uh, sorry.

Speaker:

I'm I'm, I'm laughing at myself.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

But a thought right.

Speaker:

Um, when you have a thought and you can bring it into the physical world, that is.

Speaker:

Essentially manifestation or at least the manifestation we're talking about here.

Speaker:

So.

Speaker:

A simple example is if you think about a painting, right?

Speaker:

And then you actually do the painting and now you have it in the physical world.

Speaker:

Whereas originally that painting only existed in your mind, right?

Speaker:

Like no one else knew about it.

Speaker:

It didn't exist in the real world.

Speaker:

And then you went out, you grabbed paint to end a canvas

Speaker:

and you put it onto the canvas.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

So that is a very, very simplistic form of manifestation.

Speaker:

Now in terms of how can we manifest.

Speaker:

Realistically you're manifesting right now, as you are sitting thing.

Speaker:

Well, maybe not during this podcast, maybe you're just listening,

Speaker:

but in general, when you are.

Speaker:

Living your life.

Speaker:

You are constantly manifesting.

Speaker:

You are thinking of something and you are going out and doing that right.

Speaker:

Um, maybe you're hungry.

Speaker:

So you're making a meal, right?

Speaker:

You manifested that meal essentially, right?

Speaker:

Once again, these are very simplistic terms, but nonetheless, you are

Speaker:

technically manifesting right now.

Speaker:

So anytime you think about something and do it.

Speaker:

That's manifestation.

Speaker:

Uh, however, I want to very clearly make this distinction that there

Speaker:

is two parts to manifesting, right?

Speaker:

Manifesting.

Speaker:

Starts with, you know, becoming clear on a goal and, uh, not only

Speaker:

thinking about that goal, but actually feeling and embodying that goal.

Speaker:

So let's say.

Speaker:

Um, This is a very common one.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

And this is something that I've experienced.

Speaker:

Let's say you're basically like broke, right?

Speaker:

Well, you want to be rich or at least, you know, not broke.

Speaker:

And so you are.

Speaker:

Thinking of a future in which you are, let's just say rich, right?

Speaker:

Like you have no, uh, you know, lack of money in any way, shape or form

Speaker:

like you are doing well, you have as much money as you could possibly want.

Speaker:

So now you are clear on a goal of B.

Speaker:

You know, gaining money.

Speaker:

And so now.

Speaker:

It's one thing to become clear on that goal and not just clear on it, but also

Speaker:

remember to feel the emotions of what it would be like to be in that future.

Speaker:

This is a very key part here.

Speaker:

You have to embody the future.

Speaker:

You have to feel it.

Speaker:

You have to actually feel the sensations and the emotions

Speaker:

that would come with being rich.

Speaker:

Then, and this is the very, very, very important second portion of manifesting.

Speaker:

You have to get out there and you have to put yourself.

Speaker:

Out there.

Speaker:

Start doing stuff to obtain that wealth.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

And I think a lot of people think that manifestation is just simply

Speaker:

thinking of something and wow.

Speaker:

It just occurs, which to a large degree does actually happen.

Speaker:

It's pretty freaking wild, how we can just think things and then it can happen.

Speaker:

I think the best way of explaining this is like the placebo effect.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

We when, uh, people were in a placebo group.

Speaker:

Uh, so they're taking a placebo pill.

Speaker:

Let's just say it's like for cancer or something.

Speaker:

And then there's actually a portion of people in that group

Speaker:

that actually cure their cancer.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

Even though they receiving, they were receiving some

Speaker:

kind of a pill that had like.

Speaker:

You know, water in it, basically.

Speaker:

So it's really, wow.

Speaker:

We don't know how that happens.

Speaker:

Uh, the placebo effect, it actually has a pretty solid percentage

Speaker:

in terms of how effective it is.

Speaker:

Um, and that is literally just the power of your mind.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

So when you are thinking something, it will help to bring

Speaker:

it into the reality, right?

Speaker:

Like as your.

Speaker:

Thinking and getting clear on it.

Speaker:

You're now creating it and bring it into your field.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

But if you are not out there actively trying to obtain whatever that goal is.

Speaker:

So if it's being rich, then I don't know.

Speaker:

Maybe it's trying to find a new job that you really enjoy.

Speaker:

Maybe it's like winning the fricking lotto or I don't know, whatever it may be, but

Speaker:

it's not just going to fall in your lap.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

It's going to be an opportunity that you're drawing toward you.

Speaker:

You're drawing in what I like to think of is opportunities.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

So it's not just like somethings.

Speaker:

That's going to be delivered to you, but rather you might be out, um, let's

Speaker:

say looking for a job and all of a sudden that perfect ideal job pops up,

Speaker:

like, wow, how did I find this job?

Speaker:

It aligns with me perfectly, like, let's say you're a surfer.

Speaker:

And all of a sudden, one day you see a job posting that is.

Speaker:

You know, working for a surfboard company, like, and it's, you know, the ideal

Speaker:

stuff like you get to go out and test surf boards and all this cool stuff.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

So it's, it's presenting these opportunities to you.

Speaker:

That's the way I like to see it.

Speaker:

And so you can't really obtain these manifestations if you're not

Speaker:

putting yourself out there as well.

Speaker:

And so I think that's a very important thing.

Speaker:

You know, you, you don't receive something for nothing, right?

Speaker:

So one part of it is getting very clear and intentional

Speaker:

and thus meditating, right?

Speaker:

So, uh, or praying as well, you could do different forms of this, but for

Speaker:

me personally, I've done a meditation.

Speaker:

I specifically do, uh, Joe Dispenza meditations, which if you're.

Speaker:

Not a believer in manifestation.

Speaker:

Go listen to that guy.

Speaker:

Talk here about some of the incredible, like literally biblical type

Speaker:

stuff that happens at his events.

Speaker:

It's insane.

Speaker:

Um, but anyways, I would do Joe Dispenza meditations, and I was doing

Speaker:

a 30 minute meditations for 30 days.

Speaker:

For those of you who haven't heard that episode.

Speaker:

Uh, that's what I did.

Speaker:

I did 30 days of meditation and it was a Joe Dispenza manifestation one.

Speaker:

So for 30 minutes a day, you are concentrating on what you want to

Speaker:

draw in what future you want, what opportunities you're looking for.

Speaker:

And then you have to embody the emotions.

Speaker:

Of that future.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

And I think that part is also very, very important because.

Speaker:

When you start to embody the future that you are looking to obtain.

Speaker:

It's really important that we become almost like a new person.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Because if you are trying to.

Speaker:

Find wealth.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

But you're completely broke then.

Speaker:

You have to understand that the person, that the person, that you are, the

Speaker:

traits that you have, whatever, the personality that you have created,

Speaker:

the broke situation that you're in.

Speaker:

And to obtain wealth means that you have to become a new person.

Speaker:

You have to become the person that is able to obtain that wealth.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

And so that means becoming basically a new person.

Speaker:

You can't, you know, if, if.

Speaker:

A broke person stays the same and receives money.

Speaker:

And we see this all the time with people who win the lotto.

Speaker:

What happens, they win the lottery.

Speaker:

And then all of a sudden, in like a year or two, they lose millions of dollars and

Speaker:

they go back to being as broke as they were, and having to work a job again.

Speaker:

And that's because they might have early, you know, luckily

Speaker:

gotten the money, but they were not ready to actually receive it.

Speaker:

Um, you know, they didn't have the correct personality and the correct

Speaker:

discipline to manage that kind of wealth.

Speaker:

So it's very important for us to understand that when we're doing, uh,

Speaker:

these manifestations to really actually feel what it would feel like when you get

Speaker:

to that place that you're trying to be at.

Speaker:

So.

Speaker:

That's kind of a little snippet on how you can manifest, but also one

Speaker:

of the best forms of manifesting.

Speaker:

If you just don't even know where to start.

Speaker:

It's just start with gratitude.

Speaker:

If you can start being thankful, that is going to be massive.

Speaker:

So there's a quote that says.

Speaker:

Money appreciates for those who appreciate.

Speaker:

And it's very true.

Speaker:

Um,

Speaker:

You want to find gratitude in your every day.

Speaker:

So for everything you possibly can find gratitude for, give gratitude

Speaker:

for it and really feel the gratitude.

Speaker:

And then I want you to take it a step further.

Speaker:

Don't just be grateful for the stuff that you already have, right.

Speaker:

Which you should do even like if you're a super broke, if you,

Speaker:

whatever money you do have in your bank, or if you've come across like

Speaker:

a penny or a quarter on the ground.

Speaker:

Pick it up and be super grateful for that money that you received.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

We have to like be.

Speaker:

Grateful for that, which we do have, and that which we are receiving.

Speaker:

And I also want you to be grateful for the future and the opportunities

Speaker:

that are coming to you and the money that is also coming to you, right?

Speaker:

Like we have to start creating gratitude.

Speaker:

For that, which we are looking to manifest because when you're

Speaker:

grateful for something, it means that you already have it typically.

Speaker:

So it's like you're creating that gratitude already in you, and you're

Speaker:

ready to receive that money or that new future or that new job or whatever it

Speaker:

may be that you're trying to manifest.

Speaker:

Now the little story that I was going to go into was from the book.

Speaker:

Um, you are a badass at making money.

Speaker:

I think.

Speaker:

I forget her name.

Speaker:

She's awesome though.

Speaker:

Uh, her writing style is incredible.

Speaker:

Um, it's super easy to read and a lot of storytelling in it, which I really love.

Speaker:

Uh, but nonetheless, she talks about how.

Speaker:

You can think of manifestation as this, or I'll also just kind of gratitude.

Speaker:

So.

Speaker:

If there's a bunch of kids on the block and you made a batch of cookies and

Speaker:

you took that batch of cookies outside.

Speaker:

And you called all the neighbor kids over and you said, Hey, everyone grab a cookie.

Speaker:

So everyone grabs a cookie.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

And let's say like, you know, 50% of them just take the cookie and run, then

Speaker:

maybe there's like another, you know,

Speaker:

Let's say there was like 10 kids, so five of them already left.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

And then, uh, let's say 40 more percent.

Speaker:

So like four of them.

Speaker:

Um, maybe he said, thank you, but then just took off.

Speaker:

And then there's that one kid who really actually means it.

Speaker:

They stand there.

Speaker:

They say, wow, thank you, Mr.

Speaker:

Or Mrs.

Speaker:

So-and-so.

Speaker:

This is so delicious.

Speaker:

I really appreciate you making these cookies for us.

Speaker:

Like it is just the best tasting cookie ever.

Speaker:

I am super thankful or grateful for you making these cookies.

Speaker:

Um, if there's any thing I could do to help you around the house, you know, to

Speaker:

show my appreciation, please let me know.

Speaker:

Guess who's going to get.

Speaker:

A bunch more cookies in the future.

Speaker:

It's not going to be the kids that just ran off.

Speaker:

It's going to be the kid that really showed that appreciation.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

They're showing their gratitude for something and they're very

Speaker:

likely to receive more of it.

Speaker:

And so.

Speaker:

That's another thing.

Speaker:

I think for a lot of people who don't believe in manifestation is it's great

Speaker:

to look at it from that perspective.

Speaker:

If, for example, Uh, you are wanting to let's say, uh, yeah, like you're,

Speaker:

you're, uh, let's say you're a salesperson and you're trying to make more sales.

Speaker:

And you are, you know, really trying to figure out how can I

Speaker:

make more cells and let's say for.

Speaker:

Let's there's two scenarios.

Speaker:

There's you in the version of being grateful and trying to like

Speaker:

put out your best foot forward.

Speaker:

And then there's other version where you just stay the same and

Speaker:

you're always grumpy about, you know, not being able to make a cell.

Speaker:

Well guess what.

Speaker:

When you're speaking to customers.

Speaker:

Yeah, of course.

Speaker:

There's going to be tons of people that tell you no, when you're trying

Speaker:

to make sales, but there is going to be that one person that is interested.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

And.

Speaker:

If they come across the version of you that is grateful is happy,

Speaker:

is hopping on the phone call, just excited to talk to you, right?

Speaker:

You're very likely to want to do business with that person.

Speaker:

Whereas if you are, you know, always complaining about how you

Speaker:

can never make a sale and you know, you get on the phone call and you've

Speaker:

already got that attitude about you.

Speaker:

Obviously you're very unlikely to make that sale.

Speaker:

So it's also just.

Speaker:

From a very simple perspective.

Speaker:

Creating a.

Speaker:

Like a new personality about yourself.

Speaker:

One that is more eager and happy and enjoys, you know, doing the work

Speaker:

that you're doing because people are going to really feel that right.

Speaker:

I mean, it's very simple.

Speaker:

If you look at, uh, if you walk into a room of a couple of people that maybe

Speaker:

they're just got done, having an argument.

Speaker:

You walk in that room and you can easily feel the tension in that room,

Speaker:

even though no one says anything, you can feel it by their actions.

Speaker:

You can almost even just like, feel it in the air basically.

Speaker:

But you know, you can see how their actions are, how they're

Speaker:

speaking and you just really, yeah.

Speaker:

You pick up on that.

Speaker:

And so when you are out there, you know, maybe looking for a new job or trying

Speaker:

to make a sale or whatever it may be.

Speaker:

If you are still approaching it with the same mentality, then you're

Speaker:

going to get the same results.

Speaker:

Um, really it's like that quote, right.

Speaker:

Uh, the definition of insanity is doing something the same way

Speaker:

over and over and over again, and expecting a different result.

Speaker:

Uh, so we have to, if we want to see differences in our lives, we have to

Speaker:

really start changing ourselves as well.

Speaker:

So manifestation to me personally, and this is my take on it is not just the

Speaker:

thought process of bringing something new into your life, but rather it's

Speaker:

a multi-step process of really doing inner work, finding gratitude and being

Speaker:

grateful for that, which we already have.

Speaker:

And the opportunity to create more and really kind of changing ourselves,

Speaker:

becoming a new version of ourselves, a new person that you know, is.

Speaker:

Is the person that would be able to obtain that future and maintain that future.

Speaker:

So I'm hoping I'm making sense here.

Speaker:

With these stories.

Speaker:

Um, but you know, it's, it's really, it just comes down to, if you want

Speaker:

to change your future, if you want something different in your life.

Speaker:

You have to start changing yourself.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

And so there's, uh, the statistic, I think it's like we have

Speaker:

60 to 80,000 thoughts a day.

Speaker:

And like somewhere in that range and something like 90% of them are

Speaker:

reoccurring thoughts day in and day out.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

So we're just thinking the same thoughts every single day for the most part.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

And just doing basically the same thing over and over again, we're

Speaker:

going to get the same result.

Speaker:

So, if you want to manifest, if you want to change, if you want to obtain

Speaker:

a new future, you have to change the way in which you're going about things.

Speaker:

And if you want to be abundant in life, then you have to start

Speaker:

acting like an abundant person.

Speaker:

If you want to become wealthy, then you need to start creating the wealth or

Speaker:

sorry, the mindset of a wealthy person.

Speaker:

You have to start creating the work habits of a wealthy person.

Speaker:

And I know a lot of people might think that.

Speaker:

Hey, like wealthy people are terrible people, you know, they do terrible things,

Speaker:

but take that thought out of your head.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

Just because a person is wealthy that's has nothing to do with the money.

Speaker:

It's, you know, they probably be a really crappy person, even if

Speaker:

they didn't have the money, right.

Speaker:

Money is just an amplifier.

Speaker:

So it's energy, right?

Speaker:

Like if you have a lot of money, then you can, you know, essentially

Speaker:

make a lot of change in the things that you're interested in.

Speaker:

So, you know, you can have a person who is really interested in the environment

Speaker:

and health and, you know, maybe donates a ton of money to different causes

Speaker:

that help with the environment and.

Speaker:

And the health of our society.

Speaker:

Well, that's really awesome.

Speaker:

And they wouldn't have been able to do that without money.

Speaker:

And then on the other flip side of that is you can have a person who's a

Speaker:

terrible person and maybe not hates the environment, but does not care about

Speaker:

the environment and supports things that are destroying the environment.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

So it just goes both ways and it really depends on what are your intentions and

Speaker:

what are your goals with, you know, the money that you're looking to obtain.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

I really think it's important for us to change our ideas around money

Speaker:

and our relationship with money.

Speaker:

We have to understand that money is what we make it.

Speaker:

So, uh, if you're.

Speaker:

You know, a good person, then you're going to do good things with money.

Speaker:

That's really just as simple as it can be.

Speaker:

And also wanting to make this really random side note.

Speaker:

But.

Speaker:

Uh, if you.

Speaker:

Are that person that always says, oh, when I have money, I'll do this.

Speaker:

When I have money, I'll do that.

Speaker:

Let me just tell you right now.

Speaker:

If you are not already.

Speaker:

Doing those things now, it's very unlikely that you'll do them when you have money.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

And so, for example, if you are talking about donating to charities or, uh, you

Speaker:

know, maybe even, uh, going over and volunteering at like a soup kitchen or,

Speaker:

uh, I don't know, whatever it may be.

Speaker:

If you're not doing that right now, then you're not going to do

Speaker:

it just because you have money.

Speaker:

Like right now, I'm sure you could donate a dollar or $5

Speaker:

to whatever charity of your.

Speaker:

Of your liking right.

Speaker:

And just because you have millions of dollars.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

I mean, you can donate more money to those charities, but realistically, if

Speaker:

you don't have, if you're not already practicing that money, isn't necessarily

Speaker:

going to make you start doing that.

Speaker:

So if there's something that you want to start doing and, you know, like,

Speaker:

Whatever it may be.

Speaker:

It doesn't even have to be charity, uh, base start doing it now, even to

Speaker:

whatever degree you're able to do.

Speaker:

So with your financial and, um, you know, socioeconomic kind of setting, right.

Speaker:

Uh, yeah, so that's basically.

Speaker:

My little rant on men F manifestation.

Speaker:

But yeah, I just really wanted to highlight that, um, you

Speaker:

don't manifestation is, uh,

Speaker:

It's multifaceted.

Speaker:

It's not just one thing.

Speaker:

It's not the, you know, oh, just think something and then it'll happen.

Speaker:

That is part of it.

Speaker:

And I do believe in it, but I think that if you don't do

Speaker:

the other work, Opportunities will present themselves to you.

Speaker:

But if you're not ready to recognize that opportunity as an opportunity,

Speaker:

or maybe even be in the right place to receive that opportunity.

Speaker:

Then you can manifest or try to manifest all you want, but.

Speaker:

Or by, you know, by simply sitting down and meditating.

Speaker:

Um, but at the end of the day, you do have to put in some leg work, you

Speaker:

do have to become that new person.

Speaker:

You have to live your life in a different way that is going to obtain those goals.

Speaker:

So.

Speaker:

Anyways, this is coming from a person who has had some pretty interesting

Speaker:

things happen with manifestation.

Speaker:

Um, yeah, personally it actually, with the 30 days of meditation that

Speaker:

I did, uh, the 30 minutes a day, I feel that it truly brought some

Speaker:

really incredible things into my life.

Speaker:

Um, personally actually brought me a job that is incredibly aligned

Speaker:

with my passions of health and wellness, which is incredible.

Speaker:

Um, and obviously.

Speaker:

This, uh, podcast is, is definitely my passion as well.

Speaker:

And it's something I really just enjoy doing.

Speaker:

Um, but yeah, it's, it's incredible.

Speaker:

W if you, if you are very serious about changing your life and

Speaker:

manifesting something new in your life, I highly highly recommend for

Speaker:

He has some incredible meditative, uh, sorry.

And then be consistent.

You have to be consistent with anything in this world.

Right?

I mean, if you want to be better at anything, you have to be consistent.

Speaker:

If you want to lose weight, you have to eat right.

Speaker:

And work out consistently.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

Like you can't it's it's like the, the same.

Speaker:

One healthy meal.

Speaker:

Doesn't make you healthy.

Speaker:

One bad meal.

Speaker:

Doesn't make you unhealthy.

Speaker:

So you have to be consistent in anything in life.

Speaker:

And if you want to manifest a brand new future, you better believe

Speaker:

that you have to be very, very consistent with your manifestation.

Speaker:

So I would urge you to maybe give a manifestation meditation, a try and

Speaker:

give it like 30 or 60 days a trial every single day hit that meditation.

Speaker:

Um, at least five days out of the week.

Speaker:

If you.

Speaker:

Can do all seven days of the week and realistically.

Speaker:

I know 30 or 60 days might sound daunting, but at the end of

Speaker:

the day, what is that really?

Speaker:

In the grand scheme of time and also to achieve a brand new future.

Speaker:

Um, I think it's very, very worth it.

Speaker:

And, uh, it's also a great time to just tap in with yourself and, uh, you

Speaker:

know, get clear on what it is that you want with your life and your future.

Speaker:

So,

Definitely give this a try.

Speaker:

Um, more simple terms or ways of thinking of manifestation and how to do it.

So, um, yeah, use that power and that ability, um, and create your future.

Uh, I think that's really the purpose of, of a lot of life is, is just creation.

And so why not create something great in your life?

Um, you only got one of them, so might as well get out there and get after it.
