Do you struggle with eating clean 100% of the time!? If you answered yes then you're just like me! Yes, even a Health Coach doesn't eat clean 100% of the time and that's okay! This is why following the 80/20 rule is key to living a healthy life that doesn't destroy your social life. The 80/20 rule gives you permission to indulge in those "unhealthy" foods and drinks and not feel any guilt or shame around those foods because they are just the occasion and not the everyday.
Healthy Relationship with Food:
The 80/20 rule allows you to have a healthy relationship with food. The 80/20 rule allows you to not feel shame or guilt when you're eating foods that don't exactly fit your diet. Remember a healthy lifestyle is balanced, and losing friendships or family relations over your diet is definitely not healthy and absolutely not balanced. Therefore, giving ourselves permission to break away from our eating habits from time to time is absolutely fine and sometimes essential to creating a healthy relationship with food and a healthy lifestyle.
