How to Improve the Health of Your Skin

In this first episode of the Organ Masterclass, we cover the largest organ of the body, the skin! The skin is your first barrier of defense from the external world. It defends your internal organs from viruses and bacteria while also converting sunlight into vitamin D with the help of cholesterol.

The skin is also a detoxifying organ much like the liver and lymphatic system. However, what's unique about the skin is that it can be an example of what's going on inside the body. When you have issues with your liver, digestive system, or lymphatic system they can express their problems through rashes or other skin abnormalities. In this way, the skin is the window to your body and through observing your skin, you can take better care of the rest of your body.


The skin is an incredibly important organ and this episode will help you to better understand how to take care of your skin by covering:

  • The 3 different levels of the skin.
  • How to detox the body for better skin.
  • What foods are best for the skin.
  • How exercise is tied in with detoxifying the body.
